Filming Crew Introduction (video & pictures)

As A.S students we were told to get into groups and the minimum number of members in each group is two (2) and also the maximum number is three (3). We managed to get together and decided that we were going to work together as a group of three (3). The day that we came together to form a group, we gave each other specific roles of what each one of us will be doing. It was easy for us to allocate roles and responsibilities, and this is because we communicated well and understood each other, which is vital when working with other people as a group.
The roles and responsibilities for each of us are as follows:

DIRECTOR "Takura S Chikomo"

As the director I have more responsibility than other members and one of the reasons is that l have to make sure that everything they are doing is right and l will be referring to the paper work, and when it comes to shooting the movie l will be referring to the storyboard and the script mainly. As the director l will also be helping the editor. One of the reasons l was chose to be the director is that l have had previous experience in both using the camera and editing and then because of that l will be able to help the cameraman and the editor. I also feel that the role l was given is suitable for me and l will be able to do it well. I'm also carrying my own research on what a director does and this is for me to get extra knowledge. I'm the one who also did the editing for the above introduction crew video and l also have been reading the final cut pro book. I will be in charge of the inventive, artistic or creative and dramatic or theatrical aspects, while guiding the actors and the technical crew.

VIDEOGRAPHER "Sophie"

Sophie is going to be the videographer, working with the camera recording the moving images and sound on tape. She will be the main figure in the technical areas, but l will also be helping her.

 EDITOR "Joshua"

Joshua will be the one putting the scenes and shots together. He will be the editor, editing the moving images and also the sound tracks. Joshua will be using "Final Cut Pro" to edit the movie. I'm also going to be helping Joshua in editing.
